Dragging through to the end of the month
11.30.09 - 8:53 pm (CT)
It seems like a very long month, it's just been dragging itself out like December will never come, as for why it feels like that, I have no idea, it just does. Maybe I'm antsy with all of the rigmarole, the uncertainty, the ups, the downs, the ins, the outs… who knows, certainly not me. And even with time taking a break, I actually haven't, when I start to think about all the things I have actually gotten done, well, I'm amazed with myself for accomplishing so much.

You know the best thing about November is that it ends with the birthday of my really cool son, Jon, who is one of three neatest sons that I have and he livens up a wet, rainy November like a rainbow after a storm. That's my Jon… and here's a great BIG MindBlog…

Happy Birthday to Jon!

Bouncing back from one thing or another
11.12.09 - 1:25 pm (CT)
Gee, if it's not one thing, it's another… and I'm a slacker in one thing or another. If it's not here at MindBlog, it's in dealing with everyday or not-so-everyday crud. Although, slowly, but surely, I'm getting stuff done, but I'm not necessarily doing them in right order, which doesn't totally bum me out, just occasionally it is a bummer.

I used to be more on the ball, but for a while now, sometimes this and that have been getting me sidetracked to where I am totally off the ball, however, one of these days, I will bounce back.

Getting on Facebook

Create Your Badge
I remember why I did it, but I forget when I did it, I setup a personal Facebook page so I could get the latest about my grandchildren from my daughter-in-law, who is an avid Facebooker. One of the girls had gotten poison ivy and, even though I only live a few blocks away, I heard about it from someone in Kentucky who was also on Facebook. It comes down to, I wanted to be kept in the loop, so I bit the bullet and signed up as you can see by the Profile Badge to your right.

I could have added my picture and a bunch of other stuff to my badge, but I chose not to and just stick with the informational basics. For the heck of it, I thought I'd throw in the linked icon to your left, which also takes you to my Facebook page. And I'm playing with the "Share on Facebook" button below, although, due to its ragged appearance, I may change out the button for the link that they also offer.

I also setup a business and a group page, not for Pageminders and MindBlog (although I'll do that sometime soon), but for my other job. I'll add their Fan Box and Badge later after I've had a chance to work out the kinks in the code. Oh, I plum forgot to mention that the pages, buttons, badges, and boxes are all FREE, so step right up folks… to Facebook.
